Masha Pavlenko

Hi I’m Masha!

I was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, but my family originally comes from Russia.

After finishing school, I moved to Switzerland for a year where I completed a foundation course in Philosophy and the Arts. After returning to New Zealand, I began working as a part time cello teacher across a number of schools, and decided that working with children was something I wanted to do and thoroughly enjoyed. I am therefore thrilled to have become a member of the Ficino team!

Outside of work, I enjoy a balance of sport, music and art. I have been playing the cello and piano since the age of 5 and love to participate in various festivals and orchestras throughout NZ.

I also love to be outdoors, whether it’s hiking, kayaking or just going for a run. I also love learning and gaining new experiences by travelling, having lived in 3 different countries in the past few years. I am very excited and grateful to be a part of your child’s learning journey, and can’t wait to grow and learn alongside them.
